Some of the other children, especially Frances and Robert II. had the fine fea tures and very black sparkling eyes which must have been inherited form their m other.
They lived very close to the Hemingways which accounts for Elsie & Henry Reece's marriage . Most of this information was taken form a History of Steele and Waseca Counties in Minnesota , published in 1887 in Chicago Ill .
War record-- 14 August 1862 Robert inlisted in Company E. 10th Minnesota Regiment He served 3 years . He was with General Sibley the first year fighting Indians . The remaining time in the South . After discharge, he lived in Waseca , Minnesota for 7 years . Then moved to Berlin Township, Minnesota .
